About our artisan partners: Sabahar, based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, continues the ancient craft of weaving by supporting and training artisans to apply their ancient skills to modern designs. By providing the bridge between the artisan and the global market, they provide reliable income for families. They employ 98 people at their workshop and engage another 200+ artisans who spin and weave in their own homes or in cooperatives around Addis Ababa and in southern Ethiopia. Remaining loyal to tradition, Sabahar only weaves with natural fibers.
